Detroit Lakes is a town that knows how to have a good time. With 400 lakes in a 25-mile radius, there’s than enough more fishing, watersports, and lake cabin activities to keep you busy. Summertime visitors to Detroit Lakes (or DL) love to fish, ski, wakeboard, sail, go hot air ballooning, golf, pop in at flea markets or farmers’ markets. Its shoreline is dotted with cabins, so it could be a good place to look for your next lake home. Big Cormorant Lake is a true natural prairie walleye lake. At 3,700 acres, it is 75 feet deep, has clarity over 20 feet, and is the second-largest lake in Becker County. 

In nearby Pelican Rapids is Pelican Lake, a 4,000 acre lake with excellent fishing. Pelican Lake has many lake cabins and could also be a good place to find a lake cabin for sale.
